Moda Operandi Hosts a Picnic in the Hamptons in Honor of Emilia Wickstead’s New Home-Ware Collection
On Saturday afternoon, the rain cleared just in time for Moda Operandi’s Lauren Santo Domingo and stylist Elizabeth Saltzman to properly fete their friend, London-based designer Emilia Wickstead, with an intimate picnic. The party was to celebrate Wickstead’s first home-ware collection, which launched exclusively with Moda Operandi last month, and took place at Saltzman’s 1969 home in East Hampton.
Deviled eggs and other summer goodies by Cafe Clover were served up on tables adorned with Wickstead’s pretty patterned tablecloths, napkins, and other linens. Everyone chased the salty and sweet treats with lots of rosé before posing in Wickstead dresses (that are currently for sale in a M’O trunk show) on cushions in the same print for an Instagram moment that will surely make every hostess with the mostess want to play matchy-matchy at her next party.
